When All Seems Lost

‍

Job 1:21 “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” 22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.” New International Version

You might feel stuck, defeated—but feelings aren’t facts. The fact is, if God is still on the throne, then the story isn’t finished.

God Sees More Than We Do

‍

Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “9 As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” New International Version

Christ’s Victory is Our Victory

‍

1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” New International Version

‍

Romans 8:38 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons… 39 will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” New International Version

Get Back in the Game

‍

Philippians 1:6 “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” New International Version

Don’t resign.

Don’t fold.

Don’t quit.

The King still has one more move.

So, what do we do with this?

1. Reframe your struggle - What feels like defeat may just be set up for deliverance.

2. Rely on God’s wisdom - His ways are higher, His perspective greater.

3. Rest in Christ’s victory - It’s already won.

4. Reignite your faith - Get back in the game.
